The 17th APIEMS Conference is the premier conference for industrial engineering and management systems in the Asia Pacific region. It was held at the 12/12/12/12 Howard Plaza Hotel. It is a forum for academics, industry, and government leaders to develop ideas and discussions with each other. It seeks to seek opportunities for cooperation among participants and promote exchanges between various fields. This conference paper will represent the latest academic thinking and success stories. Participants will benefit from the knowledge and experience of the best in this field and academia.
The conference was co-sponsored by the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology and the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management of the National Taipei University of Technology. The director of the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management of the school, Professor SHU-KAI FAN, was the chairman of the conference program. In the conference, 24 students in the department assisted with the 393 academic papers of the APIEMS conference. It is mainly responsible for the assistance and implementation of the reports of the subgroups. Students of the Institute of Management of the University have learned the adaptability of foreign language communication and on-the-spot handling through this international conference. At the same time, they have also benefited greatly from the international perspective.
